Dr. Robert Gauthier – Apex Dental Gets an Ultra Modern Website with Innovative Navigation

We give a huge applause and thank you to Dr. Robert Gauthier and Apex Dental.  Their recently relaunched website ApexDentalSmiles.com is a fresh new take on the modern day website.  The site has a great use of color, incorporating the Apex Dental logo colors throughout the website.

The most unique aspect of Dr. Gauthier’s website is the navigation.  A very interactive and innovative concept, the navigation is broken up into blocks throughout the home page.

Dental Website Apex Dental

Here is what Dr. Gauthier had to say about his new website and his experience working with Ads Next:

My web presence over the past few years had been diminishing and third party review sites were controlling my on line reputation. I knew that I needed to do something but I wasn’t sure about what I needed to do. I had seen other websites that were much more customized than mine and they seemed to show up every where I looked.

I had recently attended a Dental Management Seminar and the better part of the discussion was on SEO and in-bound web marketing. The speaker had mentioned that he was using Ads-Next for his web design and marketing and raved about the results. That evening I went online to see the speaker’s site and WOW! I knew I needed to be working with Ads-Next. I called them the next day and from the first encounter I was impressed with their promptness and professionalism.

After discussing my objectives with the Ads-Next team they got to work to develop my new website and implement a marketing plan that increase my web presence in my area.

My new site is looks great with a fresh new layout. Our site shows up on the first page of Google, Bing and Yahoo which helps leads as well as controlling the message that we want out there on the web. I so happy with my decision to go with Ad-Next and would recommend their firm with confidence.

-Dr. Robert Gauthier, DMD

President, Apex Dental, P.C.

Thank you, Dr. Gauthier!  Be sure to check out his new site www.ApexDentalSmiles.com

Dr. Leonard Hess – Union County Center for Comprehensive Dentistry Launches Website with Stunning Visuals

Congratulations to Dr. Leonard Hess and the Union County Center for Comprehensive Dentistry on the launch of their new website!  This beautiful, custom website is a great example of how to incorporate video and patient photography.

One of our favorite aspects of Dr. Hess’ new site is the Patient Case Study Gallery.  Unlike a typical before and after gallery, the case study gallery features full face pictures of patients along with pictures of the smile and teeth from multiple angles.  These images tell a great story, leaving a lasting impression on visitors to the website.

Internet Marketing and the Future of the Yellow Pages

The Washington Post reported this week that Verizon has requested permission to stop delivering the residential white pages in Maryland and Virginia.  Verizon says that most people search online for phone numbers and store frequently dialed numbers for easy retrieval.  Land lines are disappearing at a rate of 10% each year.  There just doesn’t seem to be a need for printed white pages anymore, which often end up in the recycling bin or trashcan.

So that leads us to wonder…what is the future of the yellow pages?  Long a staple in the community as THE source for local business information, people now turn to the internet as their source.  iPhones and smart phones make it easy to find information on the go.  WiFi is available at an increasing number of locations and is often free for the taking.

Many businesses have relied on their yellow page listing to attract new customers.  And in the medical community, whatever patients didn’t come by referral came because of the doctor’s yellow page ad.  Can we continue to rely on the yellow pages as our source for new leads?  The answer is no.  People use the Internet to research and find information.  That includes where to eat, shop, go to the doctor, get their car repaired, etc.  If your business isn’t online, your customers won’t be able to find you.

How many phone books will be used this winter as kindling for the fire?  Don’t let your hard earned money go up in flames.  Learn more about Ads Next 360 Internet Marketing Solution to find out how you can use the Internet to attract new customers for your business.

Google Instant

What is Google Instant? It is a new search feature that actually shows SERPs as you type in your search query. This allows a user to get the search results they are looking for faster. You won’t have to scroll down a page to find what you are looking for. If you aren’t seeing the results you want you can change your search query and the search results instantly change.  You don’t even have to hit enter to get your results.

Benefits from Google
Faster Searches: By predicting your search and showing results before you finish typing, Google Instant can save 2-5 seconds per search.

Smarter Predictions: Even when you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for, predictions help guide your search. The top prediction is shown in grey text directly in the search box, so you can stop typing as soon as you see what you need.

Instant Results: Start typing and results appear right before your eyes. Until now, you had to type a full search term, hit return, and hope for the right results. Now results appear instantly as you type, helping you see where you’re headed, every step of the way.

Is the Newspaper Industry Dying?

Here is an interesting article by Ben Parr from Mashable that discusses the Newspaper Industry’s decline in advertising revenue in the last 10 years.  Although their advertising revenue has declined each year their online advertising revenue is increasing.

We’ve known for a long time that the newspaper industry as we know it is dying. The shift from print to online has been a painful process — but just how painful has it been?

On Wednesday, the Newspaper Association of America released its estimates for advertising revenue across the newspaper industry. The numbers for 2009 were nothing short of disastrous, once again bringing up a very tough question: Can newspapers find a way to survive? Read More
